ASHA members who—as part of an interprofessional team—attend a 2019 Interprofessional Faculty Development Institute may be eligible to receive an ASHA stipend of up to $1,500 for tuition and travel expenses.
Sponsored by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC), the institutes will take place May 22–24 in Washington, D.C. (an introductory program for teams who want to build a framework for interprofessional education at their institution), and Oct. 4–5 in New Orleans.
This pilot stipend program is part of ASHA–s strategic objective to advance interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional practice (IPP). The number of stipends and the amount of each are contingent on the number of ASHA members accepted by IPEC to attend a 2019 institute. Click here for more information about stipend eligibility and requirements.
For more information about the institutes, visit the IPEC website.
