The Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) recently launched a confidential, bilingual (English/Spanish) hotline for parents and other caregivers of children newly identified with hearing loss.
The international hotline connects users via telephone, email or video to an AG Bell early intervention parent consultant who can answer questions and provide hearing loss resources, information and support. The service, called Listen-Learn-Link, also offers next steps related to early hearing detection and intervention, and communication options for those with hearing loss.
The hotline is available Monday through Friday at newparenthotline@agbell.org or 833-575-5465. International users can set up conference calls by request.
