Audiology students, PhD students and postdoctoral fellows can apply for ASHA’s 2018 Audiology/Hearing Science Research Travel Award (ARTA) to attend the 2018 ASHA Convention.
ASHA sponsors the annual ARTA program for students and fellows interested in research careers in audiology and/or hearing science. The award includes a $500 stipend and registration for the convention, scheduled for Nov. 15–17 in Boston. Meals are included at many of the events ARTA awardees are required to attend.
At the convention, ARTA awardees can learn more about the profession, attend research presentations, network with peers from across the country, and connect with established clinicians and researchers.
Applications are due by May 1; award notification will be made in early August. For details on eligibility, award responsibilities and the application process, see the award description, application instructions and frequently asked questions online.
