The June 2017 issue of Access Academics and Research focuses on the role speech-language pathology clinicians play in research collaborations. The issue looks at the importance—and benefits—of clinician-researcher partnerships to actively move research evidence into real-world clinical practice, and emphasizes the equality of clinicians and researchers in the partnership.
This issue is the first of a two-part series that reflects the growing interest in implementation science as an approach to improve evidence-based clinical practice and maximize client outcomes. The second part will focus on the role of audiology clinicians in research.
