Clinicians looking for help on decisions related to augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) can turn to a new page on ASHA’s Practice Portal. A page on accent modification will also be available shortly.
The portal provides one-stop access to information, evidence and resources on a number of clinical and professional issues in audiology and speech-language pathology. It also offers tools, templates and patient/client handouts.
Portal content development is a comprehensive process with multiple rounds of subject-matter expert review. Suggest a topic for a future Practice Portal page or nominate a subject-matter expert online.
