Party at the Market
Thursday, Nov. 17, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Share your love for the ASHFoundation in the City of Brotherly Love at the Reading Terminal Market. Come for a delicious evening of food, drink, entertainment and friendship to celebrate the ASHFoundation’s 70th anniversary and Philadelphia’s historic public market.
Established in 1892, the Reading Terminal Market is the nation’s oldest continuously operating farmers’ market, housing a host of local merchants and a daily throng of visitors.
Selected Reading Market vendors will prepare local delicacies and small bites, with an open bar during this private after-hours event.
“We are grateful for the special generosity of corporate donor EBS Healthcare,” says Thomas Campbell, ASHFoundation president. “EBS support ensures that attendees’ ticket purchases, priced at the anniversary year number, will directly support research and education efforts that are so vital to ensuring communication for 50 million children and adults with speech, language and hearing disorders.”
Proceeds support the ASHFoundation’s programs. Purchase tickets ($70) on the convention registration form or by calling 877-585-6005.
Founders Breakfast
Friday, Nov. 18, 6:45–8:30 a.m.
Steeped in history, the Lowes Philadelphia Hotel’s Millennium Hall—a former banking room built in the 1930s—offers the perfect setting to celebrate 70 years of giving. The ASHFoundation’s legacy of supporting innovators and sparking innovation will be on display as guests see how ASHFoundation donors and their gifts translate into up to 70 awards totaling more than $500,000. Through these awards—scholarships, research grants and clinical recognition—ASHFoundation donors are changing lives and ensuring a bright future for the professions.
Donors at the Founders level (at least $100) and higher will be recognized for their generosity and will receive invitations with program highlights. Tickets ($40) can be purchased only through the invitation response card and are not available onsite. To receive a Founders Breakfast invitation, become an ASHFoundation donor by Sept. 30. For more information or to give, call 301-296-8704.
Ready to Zumba Fundraiser
Saturday, Nov. 19, 6:30–7:30 a.m.
Get ready to Zumba—with speech-language pathologist Kia Johnson—to benefit the ASHFoundation! A licensed Zumba Fitness instructor and associate professor at the University of Houston, Johnson is donating her time to lead a supercharged aerobic workout that will get your morning off to an exhilarating Latin-style start.
Proceeds support the ASHFoundation’s programs that support innovators and spark innovation. Purchase nonrefundable tickets ($25) on the convention registration form or by calling 877-585-6005.
