Modeled after the Humans of New York project, Humans of ASHA is ASHA’s version of the faces and stories that surround us.
Convention planners see the concept as directly related to the convention theme, “Everyday leadership. Leadership every day.” They realized that the members and affiliates of ASHA have everyday stories of their own to tell—everyday leadership moments and everyday life.
Humans of New York features interviews with thousands of people on the streets of New York City. At Humans of ASHA, members are invited to share their stories of a moment in their professional or personal lives that shaped them.
Each week several stories and photos will be featured on the ASHA website. Some may also be posted on social media, including Facebook and Instagram, or featured onsite in Philadelphia.
Look for the Humans of ASHA Story Center in the Exhibit Hall, where convention attendees can submit their stories and photos and view the stories of others.
Share your everyday moment, and be part of the ASHA story.
