How can ASHA help the profession of speech-language pathology meet the needs for patient-reported outcomes in health care settings?
Learn how a special ad hoc committee is developing recommendations and a proposed plan to address this issue in the December issue of Access Academics & Research. The Ad Hoc Committee on Patient-Reported Outcomes (PRO) is chaired by Kathryn Yorkston, professor and head of the Division of Speech Pathology in the University of Washington’s Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. Yorkston highlights the goals of this committee, identification and evaluation of PRO measures, and future directions of this effort.
