Salus University welcomed an inaugural class of 25 students to its new graduate program in speech-language pathology this fall.
The master of science program, which was awarded candidacy accreditation status in July by the Council on Academic Accreditation, is a two-year course of study in the College of Education and Rehabilitation, directed by Carolyn Mayo.
Salus, located in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, and founded as the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1919, offers degree programs in a variety of health-related professions, including optometry, audiology, physician assistant, public health, occupational therapy and speech-language pathology.
