Butler University communication sciences and disorders faculty and National Student Speech Language Hearing Association members recently paid tribute to Liz McCrea with a $750 donation to the ASHFoundation. The NSSLHA chapter officers and members honored McCrea as ASHA past president and in gratitude for her impact on students as a professor at Indiana University.
The Halloween Program for Freshmen is the NSSLHA chapter’s primary fundraiser. Parents can purchase a treat bag that is delivered to their Butler child during Halloween. “The ASHFoundation is doing so much to support students and researchers in our field, and we know how passionate Dr. McCrea is about the work of the ASHFoundation,” says Maggie Brennan, president of the Butler NSSLHA chapter. “It just seemed like the perfect fit to honor her with a donation to the ASHFoundation.”
