Renewing your ASHA membership soon? Make it a two-fer and join the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation’s 70 Years of Giving celebration at the same time.
The ASHA renewal form offers a convenient way to make a donation to your profession’s charity and support transformative research and students studying communication sciences. If every ASHA member—all 182,000—gives $70 to honor the ASHFoundation’s 70th anniversary when renewing membership, that’s more than $12 million to support groundbreaking research and tomorrow’s professionals. This $70 for 70 Challenge will help bring the gift of communication to millions.
Contributions to the ASHFoundation fund critical research priorities, open access to mentoring and networking opportunities for new professionals, and improve the lives of individuals living with speech, language and hearing disorders. The ASHFoundation elevates the importance and visibility of audiologists, speech-language pathologists and speech-language-hearing scientists. It is the only foundation serving the entire field of communication sciences and disorders.
Use the voluntary contribution line on your 2016 ASHA membership renewal form to make your tax-deductible donation and support future students and researchers in communication sciences.
