Michael Yudin, who has been with the U.S. Department of Education since 2010, received Senate confirmation in June as assistant secretary for special education and rehabilitation, a post he has held in an acting capacity since 2012.
In his position, Yudin leads the department’s Office of Special Education and Rehabilitative Services, which focuses on improving results and outcomes for people with disabilities of all ages and supporting their full integration into and participation in society.
