ASHA’s Practice Portal recently added information on childhood hearing screening, bringing the total number of clinical issue and professional topic pages to 27.
The online Practice Portal is designed to help audiologists and speech-language pathologists in their daily practices. The portal consolidates the best available evidence and expertise in service delivery and identifies resources that have been vetted for relevance and credibility. The portal does not provide a practice “recipe,” but instead consolidates information and resources that clinicians need to guide their decisions. Content for Practice Portal pages is developed through a comprehensive process that includes several rounds of review by subject-matter experts.
More pages will be added this fall on clinical education, adult dysphagia and written language disorders.
