ASHA invites members to review and comment on proposed changes to the association’s Code of Ethics.
The ASHA Code of Ethics provides the fundamental principles and rules of ethical conduct for the professions of audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech, language, and hearing science. In drafting changes, the Ethics Education Subcommittee of the Board of Ethics strengthened and clarified the language to reflect current issues important to the professions and to ASHA members and certificate holders.
To read “Proposed Revisions to the ASHA Code of Ethics” and complete the review form. The document and peer review form are also available from the ASHA Action Center, 800-498-2071. The review period closes Aug. 15.
