ASHA encourages all academic programs offering training programs in communication sciences and disorders (CSD)—from undergraduate through PhD programs—to complete the 2015 CSD Education Survey, which opens Aug. 11.
The survey will collect key data from more than 300 academic institutions, including information on applications, admissions, enrollment, graduation and first employment.
The data are used in two ways. Information from academic programs that complete the survey will be compiled into a program profile in EdFind, ASHA’s online directory of CSD academic programs. EdFind continues to rank as one of the most-visited pages on the ASHA website and is the most frequently viewed page on mobile devices.
Individual program data are the source for AHSA’s CSD national and state aggregate reports, which provide overall views of the pipeline to the professions, both nationally and in individual states.
In 2014, 93 percent of the institutions contributed much-used data by completing the survey. For more information, contact hes@asha.org. The survey closes Nov. 23.
