The American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation will honor its donors and awardees during three activities at the 2015 ASHA Convention in Denver.
Pinnacles, Peaks and Philanthropy Reception
Thursday, Nov. 12, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Guests will have a view of soaring, snow-capped mountains through the floor-to-ceiling windows of the Pinnacle Club, a premier event venue on the 38th floor of the Grand Hyatt Denver. The view—one of the most expansive in North America—spans 10,600 miles of prairie and peaks, including Pikes Peak, more than 100 miles away.
The evening celebrates the promise ASHFoundation donors are making to the future of the professions. Hors d’oeuvres, musical entertainment and networking round out the evening. Located within walking distance of the Convention Center and many convention hotels, the Pinnacles, Peaks and Philanthropy Reception is a don’t-miss event.
Proceeds will support the ASHFoundation’s scholarship and research grant programs. Purchase tickets ($90) on the convention registration form or by calling 877-585-6005.
Founders Breakfast
Friday, Nov. 13, 6:45–8:30 a.m.
The Studio Loft in Denver’s Performing Arts Complex is the perfect site to celebrate the “lofty” goals of ASHFoundation award recipients and donors. Guests at the Founders Breakfast will see how donors’ gifts translate into up to 70 awards totaling more than $500,000. Through these awards, the ASHFoundation supports groundbreaking research, trains the next generation of professionals, and improves clinical care.
Donors at the Founders level (at least $100) and higher will be recognized for their generosity and will receive invitations with program highlights. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased only through the invitation response card. Tickets are not available onsite. To receive a Founders Breakfast invitation, become an ASHFoundation donor by Sept. 30. For more information or to donate, contact the ASHFoundation office at 301-296-8704.
“Focus on Pinnacle Pursuits” Interviews
