After 27 years and 30 recipients of the Annie Glenn Award, ASHA will honor the beloved communication-disorders advocate herself during Friday night’s Awards Ceremony.
Annie, the wife of astronaut and former Sen. John Glenn, has credited speech-language pathologists with helping her overcome her stutter to speak fluently, and has spent decades tirelessly working to build public awareness of CSD and support of ASHA and its members.
This year, the “Annie” is all about Annie. Join us to celebrate her contributions to our field.
