First-Timers’ Welcome

Is the 2015 convention your first? Come to this popular gathering to learn about the convention and to preview programs and activities slated for the next three days. You’ll have an opportunity to meet ASHA President Judith L. Page and Convention Co-chairs Julie Noel and Jeanane Ferre, as well as other ASHA representatives. Enjoy light refreshments.
Welcome Reception

Colorado Convention Center, Exhibit Hall A/B
The first day of the convention is buzzing with activity, so bring your energy to the Exhibit Hall Thursday evening for a dedicated time to catch up with friends and colleagues, mingle with exhibitors and check out the exhibiting companies. Socialize and network while enjoying light snacks and a cash bar before you head to the twilight sessions. This reception is open to all fully registered attendees; guest tickets are available for friends and family.

Political Action Committee (PAC) Reception (ASHA members only)
Wednesday, Nov. 11, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
This special event benefits the ASHA political action committee, which serves as the political voice of the audiology and speech-language pathology professions on Capitol Hill. A suggested donation of $50 to ASHA-PAC secures your reception ticket.
ASHFoundation Fundraiser
Thursday, Nov. 12, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Grand Hyatt Denver, Pinnacle Club
Catch a view of 10,600 miles of snowcapped peaks and prairie at this reception featuring hors d’oeuvres, music and networking to benefit the American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation. See page 80 for details.
