I was very pleased to see the article “Emergency Planning for Your Clinic” in the Aug. 3, 2010, issue of The ASHA Leader. As an audiologist considering opening a private practice, I had not included any emergency planning into my business plan or into my policies and procedures manual. I was also pleased to see the ASHA resources available to help plan and execute the procedures.
