The ASHA Board of Directors recently voted to:
  • Approve appointments to the ASHFoundation Board of Trustees.

  • Extend the term of the Ad Hoc Committee for Technical Support to the Ministry of Health of Guyana.

  • Accept the December 2014 report of the Academic Affairs Board on Critical Issues in Doctor of Audiology Education.

  • Rescind nine practice policy documents.

  • Approve funding for a second in-person 2015 meeting for the Committee on Leadership Cultivation of the Leadership Cultivation and Nominations Board.

  • Approve formation of an Ad Hoc Committee on the Next Generation.

  • Approve the policy sections of the Standard Operating Procedures for the Academic Affairs Board, Ad Hoc Committee on Guidelines for the Clinical Doctorate in SLP, Audiology Advisory Council, Audit Committee, CFCC Nominating Committee, CAA Nominating Committee, Continuing Education Board, Financial Planning Board, Committee of Chairs of Standards and Ethics, Research and Scientific Affairs Committee, and Speech-Language Pathology Advisory Council.
