The ASHA Leader, July 2012, Vol. 17, 54. doi:10.1044/leader.IN5.17092012.54
I would appreciate it if you would bring to the attention of ASHA members who read the Readers Respond column in The ASHA Leader, and in particular to Dennis Hampton (“Quality of Care,” The ASHA Leader, May 15, 2012) that he need not “wonder” whether or not I saw an audiologist when I sought hearing aids. My letter to The ASHA Leader (April 3, 2012) clearly states that I bought my hearing aids “though a licensed, certified audiologist.”
This matter is of utmost importance to me. Thank you for your courtesy.
