The American Speech-Language Hearing Foundation has added a new scholarship to its graduate student scholarship program. The competition for this new award, underwritten by the ASHFoundation’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association Scholarship Fund, is open to undergraduate seniors who will begin graduate study in communication sciences and disorders (CSD) in the fall of 2012.
The application deadline for all awards in the graduate student scholarship program (including those designated for a student with a disability, a student from a minority group, and an international student) is May 21. Up to 20 scholarships of $5,000 each will be awarded.
May 21 is also the application deadline for research grants in clinical or rehabilitative audiology (one $2,000 award) and early childhood language development (two $2,000 awards) for students who initiate research projects under the guidance of a mentor.
More information and complete application materials are available at the ASHFoundation website.
