This spring, the ASHA Practice Portal will add two more clinical and professional topic areas—“Late Language Emergence” and “Adult Amplification”—to the 23 existing topics.
ASHA developed the Practice Portal to help audiologists and speech-language pathologists in their daily practices. The portal consolidates the best available evidence and expertise and identifies resources that have been vetted for relevance and credibility. The portal does not provide a practice “recipe.” Instead, it consolidates information and resources clinicians need to guide their decision-making.
Content for Practice Portal pages is developed through multiple rounds of review by subject-matter experts. For more information or to volunteer as a subject-matter expert, e-mail portalinfo@asha.org.
