Wed., Nov. 19, 5–6:30 p.m.
Hyatt Regency Orlando, Room TBA
Is the 2014 convention your first? Come to this popular gathering to learn about the convention and to preview programs and activities slated for the next three days. You’ll have an opportunity to meet ASHA President Elizabeth McCrea and Convention Co-Chairs Jaynee Handelsman and Lynn Williams, as well as other ASHA representatives. Enjoy light refreshments.
Political Action Committee Reception
(ASHA members only)
Wed., Nov. 19, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
minus5° Ice Bar (offsite)
If you’re an ASHA member, reserve this time slot for a fun-filled reception at a soon-to-be announced location. This special event benefits the ASHA political action committee, which serves as the political voice of the audiology and speech-language pathology professions on Capitol Hill. A suggested donation of $50 to ASHA-PAC secures your reception ticket.
Welcome Reception
Thurs., Nov. 20, 5–6:30 p.m.
Orange County Convention Center, Exhibit Hall WB1–4
This time slot is reserved just for a focus on the Exhibit Hall—a reception with dedicated time to catch up with friends and colleagues, mingle with exhibitors and check out the exhibiting companies. Socialize, network and recharge your battery with light snacks and a cash bar before you head to the twilight sessions. This reception is open to all fully registered attendees; guest tickets are available for friends and family.
Open Houses
Fri., Nov. 21, 8:30–11 p.m.

Several affiliated and related organizations and universities host open houses on Friday evening following the Awards Ceremony. Watch for the online schedule of open houses in October.
