Maureen Wilson shares a solution to the no-printer problem on her blog, The Speech Bubble. If the printer is broken, there are people waiting to use it, or there’s no paper—no problem!
“I was excited what I came across this app called You Doodle,” she writes. “You can just take a picture of the page you want and the app scans it in. Then you can have kids take turns coloring in sections, circling the right answer, typing or writing in the correct word, etc. It is similar to Glow Coloring, but you have more options to play with.”
The free version has advertisements that run across the top of the page, which Wilson says can be distracting for some students. A low-cost version ($1.99) has more coloring options and no ads.
