In late April, ASHA’s online conference, “Autism: Supporting Social Cognition in Schools,” will present state-of-the-art assessment and intervention strategies to help you improve the quality of life of children with autism spectrum disorder.
The conference—led by Patty Prelock, 2013 ASHA president—provides tools to assess the social cognition skills of children with ASD, along with strategies to support their school participation. The conference runs from April 23 to May 5, 2014, and offers up to 2.5 ASHA CEUs (25 professional development hours).
