Photos Display Outdated Technology
I am writing in regard to some of the photos included in the November 2013 t issue of the Leader. I noticed that there were two hearing aid photos used, one on page 13 in regard to grant money for assistive technology, and one on page 28 in regard to classroom accommodations for children with hearing loss. My concern is that both of those photos showed outdated technology. We as a profession should be promoting the latest in advancements for those we serve, not clinging to the past. More importantly, as a profession we should know what up-to-date technology looks like and not use outdated images in our professional communications.
