NSSLHA Offers New Introductory Membership
In an effort to appeal to undergraduate and doctoral students, the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association has launched a new membership category: the NSSLHA introductory membership.
This new membership category, created by the NSSLHA Council, is designed to introduce students to the value of national NSSLHA membership. Under the one-time, one-year category, students can experience the benefits and services of national membership at half the cost.
The $30 introductory membership includes access to all the benefits of national NSSLHA membership:

  • All ASHA journals online.

  • ASHA Career Center.

  • All ASHA member discounts on products (including liability insurance).

  • Eligibility to join ASHA Special Interest Groups.

  • ASHA professional development resources and assistance (the ASHA Community, Practice Portal, Compendium of Evidence-Based Practice Guidelines and Systematic Reviews, and telephone consultations with an audiologist or speech-language pathologist).

The introductory members may not receive ASHA convention discounts and are not eligible for first-year ASHA membership discounts under the membership conversion program.
