If you are planning to respond to the call for papers for the 2013 ASHA Convention, you might want to note what interested last year's attendees the most.
More than half (53 percent) of the ASHA convention attendees want [PDF] advanced-level instruction , according to a post-convention survey of 2012 attendees. More than 3,300 attendees—a 36 percent response rate—answered the survey.
And what topics interest attendees? The [PDF] top choice of audiologists was "intervention/habilitation for infants and children with hearing loss." [PDF] Speech-language pathologists most often named "language and learning in school-age and adolescent children."
The 2013 call for convention papers closes April 10. Go to Call for Papers for more information.
